அமெரிக்காவின் 46ஆவது ஜனாதிபதியாக ஜோ பைடனும் உப ஜனாதிபதியாக  கமலா ஹாரிஸும் நேற்று பதவியேற்றனர்.

இந்த நிலையில், அவர்களுக்கு வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்து தனது உத்தியோகபூர்வ ருவிட்டர் கணக்கில் பதிவிட்டுள்ள ஜனாதிபதி கோட்டாபய ராஜபக்ஷ, தானும் தனது அரசாங்கமும் ஒரு வலுவான மற்றும் பரஸ்பர நன்மை பயக்கும் இருதரப்பு உறவை நோக்கி ஒன்றிணைந்து செயற்பட எதிர்பார்ப்பதாக குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
